Elevate your skills in a Fareast

Looking to build confidence on the water or take your sailing to the next level?

Through our local partner Inflow Adventure Company, future Fareast owners and current sailors can develop and refine their keelboat sailing skills in one of Canada’s best sailing locations: Squamish.

Squamish offers consistent thermal winds, protected waters, and a unique mountain setting with Garabaldi glaciers in the background when sailing downwind…! It’s an ideal environment to progress quickly, whether you’re learning the fundamentals or pushing into more advanced performance sailing.

Inflow Adventure Company offers both structured American Sailing Association (ASA) courses and private, hands-on coaching. This means you can follow a recognized learning pathway or focus specifically on the skills that matter most to you.

Whether you are new to keelboats, transitioning from dinghies, or already sailing a Fareast 19R, Fareast 23R, or Fareast 28R, this is an opportunity to experience and master the full potential of these boats: simple, responsive, and performance-driven.

What you can work on

Sail trim optimization, efficient tacking and gybing, docking with confidence, crew coordination, spinnaker handling, and building comfort in stronger wind conditions. Private sessions can also be tailored directly to Fareast keelboats or similar performance platforms.

For current owners, this is a chance to get more out of your boat, ensure you grow with the boat, and sail it the way it was designed to be sailed.

You can even combine a spring or fall sailing trip with time in Whistler, creating a unique West Coast experience that blends sailing and mountain lifestyle.
